About the ExtravaganzaThe Arkansas Fiber Arts Extravaganza was started in 2007 by Anne Bean and was held at The Lodge At Mount Magazine. By 2011, the event had outgrown The Lodge and relocated to the Hot Springs Convention Center.
The event is organized by a three member Board of Directors. They are Anne Bean of Paris, Elizabeth Taylor of Fort Smith and Heather Zbinden of Little Rock. The board members are all volunteers and are not compensated for their time, travel, etc. The Extravaganza would not be the success that it is without the help of volunteers. These non-Board Member volunteers help with all aspects of the event because of their love of fiber and their passion for the Extravaganza. |
